This Code applies to online CPD courses, live virtual workshops, educational consultancy and any future face-to-face activities. It applies to employees, contracted facilitators, associates and learners where relevant.

4. Professional standards

5. Learning quality

Courses should have clear learning outcomes, suitable materials, accessible delivery, proportionate assessments where applicable and opportunities for feedback. Learner feedback and course evaluation inform regular review and improvement.

6. Inclusion and accessibility

Treat learners fairly and with dignity. Consider reasonable adjustments and accessibility needs, provide a respectful learning environment and address discrimination, bullying or harassment promptly.

7. Safeguarding and wellbeing

Provision is currently designed for adult educators aged 18 and over. Respond to welfare or safeguarding concerns sensitively, protect confidentiality where possible and refer immediate risks to appropriate local emergency or safeguarding services.

8. Privacy and confidentiality

Handle personal information only for legitimate, communicated purposes and in accordance with applicable data protection requirements. Protect learner records, assessment information and any confidential information received during consultancy.

9. Academic integrity and certificates

Maintain honest attendance, participation and assessment records. Do not issue certificates without satisfying published completion criteria. Report suspected falsification, plagiarism or misrepresentation through the Academic Integrity and Malpractice Policy.
